My Ultimate Tool Trailer has gone through may trials and reworks over the last three years. From a blank Aluminum Hauler from the lot to as you see it in the thumbnail of this video. Here I go into detail of my though and work process of building a work trailer out.

Your right on taking the time. When you add up all the set up and take down time to chip away at it, it really adds up. Time is something we can’t get more of. The Paulk stuff is great if you can’t think up your own stuff and since it’s all thought out it’s easy to adapt to your gear. It’s all a process, we are never done. Even Paulk said he has built up a dozen trailers in his career. That puts things in perspective for me. Great job. I like how you lit things up. You taking us along for the ride on your journey to set yourself up is appreciated. Keep at it!

I know you're in MI as I am to. The last couple weeks have been brutal cold. I know you had mentioned a heater, I just got done putting in a 12v Diesel heater. super compact and I built it into my shelving at the front of the trailer, they are also pretty cheap, the 5Kw unit is what you'd like to get. $150. You can start it before you leave and once you get to the job batteries are warm and charging. Not completely sure if its legal to run while driving. check them out!

Yeah I went from a sprinter to a sprinter box truck but the Mercedes are junk constantly breaking and expensive to fix so I just got a new truck and getting a trailer this weekend can’t wait I’ll have to do the same as you build it out as I go because I have to work one thing I will do first is epoxy to the floor then just put everything thing in I have so much stuff I filled one side of a to car garage I will need a tandem axle trailer

Good stuff. It is encouraging to know that our systems are ever changing. As we add tools, subtract tools, change, tools, get hands on experience with our latest layout, so on and so forth… There really is no other way to build out a trailer or have any system of organization without being OKhow it is on a day-to-day, week to week, month-to-month, year to year basis. I do have a question for you if this even gets to you. What truck or trucks have you used to pull this trailer set up?

So after all this, pros and cons on the van, and the trailer? I roll out of a trailer but keep thinking a sprinter would be the bomb.

What thickness of plywood did you use for drawers and drawer Cabinet

Is a trailer ever truly "finished" though? 🤔. Not a trailer guy myself, but if I think of how often I change my tool shop around, there's always another good idea/system that I want to incorporate... Fun times! Maybe a 3-year update on Mustang soon??

@11:55 There is absolutely no way in the world that is 38” aisle width…I would be shocked if it’s TWENTY 8… look less than two feet. I would like to know what to ACTUALLY is. It’s not 38. Love to see a measurement.
