When it comes to reading faster and remembering more, you might have heard about the 80/20 Rule, a.k.a. the Pareto principle.

But how exactly do you apply it to improve reading and learning skills?

Should you count the words per minute you read?

Will it damage your reading comprehension?

The answer to both questions is a resounding, "No!"

If you want to know how to read faster and retain more, you need two kinds of 80/20 analysis.

And what I share in today's video will help your motivation as it increases your memory abilities.

What I took from this is your primary task is to as effectively as possible use the presented surface structure (words) to get to the deep structures. (meaning). Interesting content as usual.

80/20 applies to many things outside of just reading and I'm really interested to view the angle at which it connects to quickly extracting, encoding and storing information from text.

Thank you for introducing me to that beautiful piece of literature. 'Before the Law' by Kafka is only one page long guys. Read it!

Excellent video as always.

I dont know if its just me but hear me out.

The real challenge in being able to remember and understand a book is by visualizing every parts, chapters, sections, title, etc.

It absolutely works on fictional literature, however in technical literature, its a no. And THATS THE REAL CHALLENGE.

I find it fun because it really pushes your mind to imagine what you cant or visualize you arent aware of. (Understand what u cant, which triggers neuroplasticity)

PS. I appreciate your videos, it helps a lot. Stay healthy my friend.
