How to Make 2-Ingredient DIY Sticky Coconut Lip Balm

This Sticky Coconut Lip Balm is made from just two ingredients and is brilliant for those extra dry days when parched lips are driving you up the wall. In no time flat you'll be able to whip up a batch of low-gloss lip balm that'll stick around on your lips long enough to lock in moisture.

RECIPE

21g | 0.74oz virgin coconut oil (make sure it's not fractionated)
21g | 0.74oz beeswax

*As long as you're using equal weights of coconut oil and beeswax you can scale this recipe up or down; lip balm tubes hold about 4.5g/0.15oz each, so this recipe makes 9 tubes (assuming you spill a little, which I did!)*

Lip Balm tubes

Beeswax

Kraft Labels
(there are strips of unused sticker between the rows of circular labels; I cut those out for lip balms and use the round labels for larger projects)

I was going through my old things today and I found a lip balm kit that I had used once, and hadn’t used again because the consistency of the recipe it gave was super hard and difficult to apply. But then I realized; I have some beeswax from the kit, and coconut oil from the pantry, and I can make this sticky coconut lip balm. I’m so glad I’ve finally gotten a chance to try one of your recipes! It’s really nice and soft and I love it. Now I just need to clean up all the spills :/ lol

Hey Marie, I really, really love your recipes! So what do you think about a recipe for a lib scrub in a soft tube? Maybe with green tea? I think of the format of the perfectfit from l.o.v
