I watched Night at the Museum again with my family recently, and I was surprised with how well the VFX hold up, there are several places where I’m not sure how much of what I’m seeing is CGI and how much is real. Could you take a look?

We need the lead VFX artists from EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE on the couch! That entire movie had a grand total of 7 people make up their VFX team with over 600+ shots. Would be great to see you guys chat with them on their workflow and process, from my understanding a lot of them are self taught.

You should look at the Uncharted Plane scene, because it seems so flat and plasticky, because of the lighting I think

Wren's distress and confusion throughout this episode is me every day.

You guys should do a David fincher special episode. He is one of the few directors who best knows how to use seamless VFX shots.

For the next Animators React I would love to hear how they made Arcane look so good. Especially considering they put out 9 hours of show on a budget of less than a 90 minuet Pixar film. Thanks guys.

You’ve looked at lotr, Harry Potter, pirates, marvel and parts of DC. I’d think it would be awesome if you did a episode or two on Batman. The stunt work as well as the effects from the last 30+ years I think would be fascinating

VFX Artists react to great and bad Battle CGI could make an interesting episode. Huge scale battles can be something that’s either done seamlessly or something that turns into a difficult to follow CGI nightmare.

The Adam Project has an extremely nasty de-aging effect on the character Sorian (played by Catherine Keener) that looked so uncanny to me. Would love to hear y'all break it down!

The impossible camera moves in "What Lies Beneath" are worth checking out. They're so subtle, and then you go "wait, did we just move through the floor? Through the wall? What the hell?"

I really want them to look at Disney's Dinosaur. The effects are mind blowing for 2000, and they did a great job combining photo real dinosaurs with practical backgrounds

The *last agni kai fight from ATLA* would be perfect for for the Animators React. It's so stunning!
For the VFX series you gotta react to *Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia!* Also at the end of second one there's a big water creature, so it might be cool to see what you think about that. Maybe also, Max Schneider's Gibberish music video, the editing kinda breaks my brain there.
And for stuntmen react It would be cool to see you react to the duel from "Potop", it's really good sword fight (tho technically it's sabers i think)

I love that you guys finally looked deeper into Eternal Sunshine. One of the best movies of all time. There’s so many more shots in that film that could use a deep dive. And all of that was done in the year 2004! Crazy.

Wren, you gotta watch the whole movie. You won’t be disappointed.

The fact that 69th episode came out almost on April Fools makes this real nice

Would love to see a breakdown of the tricks used in The Green Knight - which I understand to be borrowing from the good ol’ days of VFX

I watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" at 2 am one time. It absolutely broke me emotionally that I had an insane existential crisis the following week. The movie is an absolute masterpiece and should be considered one of the greatest story told movies of all time.

I've actually genuinely been putting a lot of thought into recommendations for you guys since you started this series and here's what I've come up with: Fractals. What am I talking about? Computer-generated landscapes using fractal technology. Famously that's what they used in 'Genesis Simulation' sequence in Star Trek II and it was groundbreaking. But I loved the episode you guys have done where you've attempted to recreate 'classical' CGI using modern technology and it just seems like a great challenge. Can you recreate the incredible fractal landscape from Star Trek II using modern software? Other points of interest aren't movies but Rescue of Fractalis and Lair both used fractal processing under the hood in ways that were extremely impressive for their time. Don't need nothing but a hearty thank you. Also I just love when you look at old analog effects so would love to see you talk about good and bad matte painting over the years, maybe Dykstraflex & computer-controlled multipass miniatures filming in general, or a "retro" episode with like pre-70s effects movies like Fantastic Voyage, Forbidden Planet, Journey to the Centre of the Earth & War of the Worlds. I think everyone talks about (the very awesome) Ray Harryhausen but I think it over shadows some other optical achievements of that time. Or the silent films of Fritz Lang (his german films are basically all effects heavy science fiction or fantasy) especially the launch sequence in Frau im Mond. Peace

I’d love to see you guys talk about the stunt work in Tenet on the Stuntmen react part of this show. I reckon hearing their process could be really cool

How about a "VFX Artists try to recreate CGI they've reacted to?"

I would love to see you attempt some of these effects in this series.
