Sam, Niko, and Jallen were in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.

As a healthcare professional, I love seeing that non-healthcare people know how dumb the CPR was 😂

Thank you for taking about our short-film LOGAN THE WOLF. I appreciate it!

I love how only about 20% of the Madam Web part was actual VFX discussion and the rest was just laughing at the baffling decisions made by the writers/director

Collapsed lung? -> CPR
Broken Arm? -> CPR
Malaria? -> You better be doing CPR

I love when it’s just them because you know they’re going to make fun of some goofy CGI

At 4:50, that S is still lit and flickering deep underwater, that's hilarious.

I’d honestly love to see a CG Hall of Fame special from you guys. Induct like 20 of the best CG shots from the 80s and 90s as the first class.

Glad to finally see Deep Rising get some love! The cast performances, the script, special effects and the overall fun levels are 10\10.

The half digested mercenary shot hit like a tonne of bricks after watching everything unfold up to that point. That scene unified the different groups through a shared enemy that was simply WAY worse than anyone on that ship could be.

Fun fact: The creatures were based on a real prehistoric species that falls under the Ottoia group.

When the dump truck hits the ambulance, it cuts the the aerial shot, the dump truck was not driving anywhere. It would have drove directly into the water! So hilarious.

Margaret Hamilton was burned when the second take went wrong. The first take is what you see in the movie. Understandably she refused to work with such fire when she was healed and returned, which is why when she vanishes from the Tin Woodman house, it's just the red smoke.

Lost in Space movie (1998) vs Netflix’s Lost in Space I think would make a solid episode

Please do a deep dive on the wizard of Oz and why this was one of the most crazy movies ever to be made. Or maybe just you can make a more general movie about how movies used to be made in the '20s all the way through the '60s before CGI actually made things safer.

That Logan fan film looks incredible - we literally had Hollywood productions 15 years ago with similar levels of production value and visuals. I'd say maybe the most amazing thing about movie making today is what can be achieved by a talented team of people working on a very tight budget.

also, fun fact: the twister in the wizard of oz is actually a 35′ muslin stocking and they wrapped it around chicken wire to make it look like a funnel.

Now that the Time Bandits TV show is out, it would be a good idea to look at some of the effects in the original movie. I know director Terry Gilliam has talked about how hard the time portal door effect was to do with the time's technology, and other effects are amazingly simple yet incredibly effective. For a shot when one of the bandits swings up to a ledge and grabs onto it, they just filmed it backwards with a dummy with its hands attached. When they pulled it, the hands detached and when you reversed the footage, it looks like the dummy is lifting up its arms to grab on.

not only was the actress burned in the Wizard of Oz fireball, but her stunt double was also burned in the sky writing scene because she sat on the exhaust pipe, so they both got burned in the film, one of many on-set injuries for the movie

There’s a special credit for the “Half-digested Eddie” artist(s) in the Deep Rising end titles.

Those two shots from The Wizard of Oz aren't even the worst of what happened on the set. You should have someone join you on the couch to discuss JUST how bad it was.

I’m very surprised haven’t done a comparison between Ghost Rider 1 and 2 yet. It’s a huge step up
