🔥SHOULDER WALL SLIDE🔥
The shoulder wall slides are a strengthening exercise of the shoulder and shoulder blade upward rotators.
we can experience shoulder pain when the shoulder and scapula are not working in coordination.
❌Some of us may have the shoulder blade start in a poor position, perhaps downwardly rotated.
❌Some of us may have poor activation of the upward rotators of the shoulder blade.
Studies show that this particular exercise helps to improve the starting alignment of the shoulder blade, as well as improving the efficiency of the upward rotators so that the humerus is able to elevate about 90° without getting “pinched”.
EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION
✅Try these slides 2 X 10 reps daily.
✅Advanced includes the use of the green band
REGRESSION: Start without a band
