Honestly I'm excited for you guys. The level of detail and work you are putting into this build makes me excited for each new video. I'm not even in a rush to see it finished because I am loving the journey. And I am learing so much. Incredible! Wonderful. Bravo!

2 issues with front camera. Water or ice on windscreen and IR reflection. I would disable the IR on this camera. If you really need IR you can get an IR lamp fixed under the front grill perhaps. Also set the front camera frame rate as high as possible, recording time will be reduced but high fps is a good idea at the front. 30 years in the industry btw.

Good job there installing and setting up! I would just recommend the extreme memory cards, they seem to be more hardy in temperature and moisture changes in my experience. I did a similar thing about 3 years ago and 2 of my cameras memory cards kept failing around every 4 to 6 months. I googled around and found some information on these other extreme memory cards which suggested they would last longer. And to date I have not replaced them again so far...👍

Super underrated channel. The production quality is old school television they’d show on the home hardware channels.

I have made 1 panelvan camper for myself in the past and learned the hard way, panel vans are no good. Here is my experience.
1st panelvan FIAT DUCATO, engine malfunction (crankshaft bearing broke and ruined it all), need to replace engine, problem is, engine replacement was so expensive, if I had a choice I'd ditch the van, but I spend so much time and money insulating/fixing the van. So forced myself to renew it, I did it, then electrical issues all the time. It was spending more time in a garage than on the road.
Then after pouring all my savings in it, I went out for a trip, just to get hit head on at an intersection and losing everything again.

After that experience, I opted for a chassis cabine with a strong container style camper on it. If this ever breaks or gets crashed into head on, I can just transfer my home to another one.
I hope someone out there can use this experience to save themselves this hassle.

Hey guys been following your videos for a while. I've also done a small conversion I've posted on my channel. I'm a security engineer by trade, this is an excellent install - just a thought, there are new cameras that use the same voltage and offer color in pitch black. They use an assisted ambient white light as opposed to the IR rings/light. So no more black and white CCTV! Awesome install, the printed camera hoods were great.

If you seal your 3d prints with uv protective spray paint will extend the life span of the print. I have sealed my house numbers with uv protection paint. The one set I forgot to seal is flaking some. Good luck!

22:30 Turkish people quite curious for campers and caravans. So many turkish van owners were complaining about same issues (who is outside of the van ) and it was best as u now did the cameras to all sides. Well done!!!

Btw Ladi is so smart man ! God bless him

Cool, I like the progress overall, the thoughts and the design work. I see some parallels to my builds and approaches. Just starting again as a big tree crashed my van right before finishing. Many uncommon things in there as well ;) I did use 3D printing as well and several architectural related thoughs. Added 12v buck converters to equalize 13, 2v lithium voltage to power 2nd monitor directly, made a damped swivel seat and many other things. Actually planned surveillance as well and will install it, but probably more wide angle and at the top bars, alongside floodlights that can be switched from inside or lighten up automatically - as a protection layer to scare potential intruders. Maybe another external sirene and flashlight as well, why not :)

Still, many ideas to pick up from you guys, great documentation of the router, the antenna and the setup!

High level and very inspiring!

I hope your exposed 3D parts last (dont know about weather, UV, rain, winter, sun, force) and you could give them a epoxy layer on top - but lets see ;) Some adapters I printed to fit the roof windows worked well for 3 years, but they were covered with Decalin, so not very exposed..

Keep up the good work. Greetings from Berlin.
