To be honest, when I first saw this I thought it was a fan made video or a joke, but after seeing it I am without a doubt interested in buying one in the future.

I remember long ago it was a common fear that the government would eventually have everyone on 24 surveillance, even in their own homes. Never could have guessed we would instead willingly pay money to record ourselves for them.

When this camera starts flying towards the intruder it should be able to play “Ride of the Valkyries”

They need to make it so they can swarm together and use facial tracking. Imagine you have 3 or 4 mini drone positioned on their respective charging docking stations throughout your house which can all detect and launch themselves to a tripped motion/door/window sensor. You could set it so that 2 of the mini drones initially respond to the alarm, capturing the event from multiple angles, and when their batteries start getting low, the other drone(s) can automatically launch to take their place. This is the future of home security.

Nice privacy policy:
“Our research and development team accesses a small number of video recordings to improve Ring's products, services and technologies.”

It’s nice to know, that my privacy is sufficiently protected against access from everyone else and only restricted to myself. Why do you even need to be able to see these recordings whenever you feel like seeing customers homes?

I hope everyone reads your privacy policy AND FAQs 👍
