What I cannt understand is how NO ONE in.his local hometown recognized him / his voice from the video - he worked in a local shop, it's not like he was a hermit never seen or heard from. I don't think i'll EVER understand that.

I saw Tom Petty live in Atlanta - he was WONDERFUL and when the cheers finally died down after he came out onto the stage, the first words out of his mouth were ‘I guess I’m the entertainment for the evening’. The night after he died, I went to the marquis at Madison Sq Garden and just watched the screen project his many images. My daughter went thru IVF, miraculously giving me my first grandchild a year ago. Thru all of it, we lifted each others spirits by singing 🎼The Waayytting Is The Hardest Part🎼. I’m in Australia, a 13 yr old boy went missing in 2003 a cop interview hundreds of local pedo’s, got a very strong hunch about a guy that fitted all of the descriptions down to the car seen, it wasn’t till 2011 that Daniel was found.

His abduction led to an eight-year investigation involving various suspects. As a result of these investigations Cowan led under cover police to a potential burial site. He was charged with the murder that same month and Morcombe's remains were discovered days later on 17 August. Cowan was sentenced to life imprisonment, (being eligible for parole in 2031) on 13 March 2014 in a trial that attracted worldwide attention.Cowan had two previous convictions for sexually abusing children, the earliest dating back to 1987.

When former detective Dennis Martyn voiced his strong belief in 2003 that Brett Peter Cowan murdered Daniel Morcombe, then homicide squad boss Mike Condon replied: "f*** off you wouldn't know anything", an inquest has heard.

The inquest into the Sunshine Coast teenager's disappearance and murder in 2003 has resumed more than five years after it was adjourned to look at the adequacy of the initial investigation.


"I would say he was a high probable person of interest after my first conversation with him, " Mr Martyn told the inquest.

"There should've been covert activities placed on him, certainly surveillance."

Even if your child is heading off to college guarantee they'll still be coming to all those traditional family holidays up until they start having kids. It's a wonderful time as a mother our children turn to adults and it's heartbreaking but then get to experience them as an adult in the fun traditions you've always had. You actually find them calling and saying hey Mom are we still going to make cookies for Christmas Eve lol it's wonderful

What shows a disregard for life was that Richard Allen stayed in the area and family and friends saw him often. Not knowing he murdered their children, but he knew and I expect he got a thrill from it.
