What you said about the toxic fandom, is partly true. When I first became a swiftie, I also landed in a pretty toxic corner of the fandom and people made fun of me for asking questions as a new swiftie and it nearly led to me not wanting to be a swiftie, but luckily, I became part of a swiftie bubble that isn't toxic. I don't want to say that your experience isn't valid, but there's also a good side this fandom

Omg I can relate. My birthday is not on the same day as Taylor’s, but I get bullied for liking Taylor but I just ignore the haters. People also tell me, “you’re not a swiftie” or “you don’t actually like Taylor swift you are just trying to be popular.” Also to all of the swifties out there, just be yourself, don’t let anyone judge you on what artist you like.
