I think people from 2005 thought transformers 2007 will just look like Robots Moving like normal robots but at the end result it became a Masterpiece.

It is a crime that this movie didn't win the Academy Award for VFX

Basically it is because we are great at rendering reflective materials like steel, but anything living, that’s a whole different story.

Honestly I have good memories of the first 3 bayverse movies. I remember as a kid with the DVD for the first movie I would just spend my entire day rewatching it over and over again and I would never get bored.

The days when I just chilled in my air conditioned room all day long and only come out to eat and just watched the same movies over and over again from their DVDs are a core memory to me.

As a kid in 07’ I remember first seeing the trailer where bumblebee transforms and stomps his fist into the ground was like the coolest shit ever like real life alien robots

The camera is also moving A LOT. Almost like the director was there trying to catch the action. Probably made all of these effects shots way harder than if the camera was still. They are selling the illusion that the director is shooting these massive machines in camera, but they’re actually computer generated.

For me it was the how they transform it was really convincing and how every automobile part actually goes somewhere and doesn't just disappear
