I came to this video expecting 40 minutes of "here's why if you squint hard enough they're not that bad", not "here's a pretty compelling argument that optimus is basically omniman if his planet had blown up and his best second option of a place to rule was planet satan™"

rewatched this video after rewatching all 5 movies and it lines up pretty much perfectly. Optimus is a crazed emperor clinging onto his last surviving colony, while his mentor, rival, creator and more all try to rebuild the home he destroyed in his quest for power and save the universe from unicron . In the 1st movie its more like a small fan theory you can tie to alot of moments but mostly sits in the background but by the time we get to last knight i feel even the writers were in on it and it feels like theyre almost explicitly telling us whats being said in this video .
