Today I took a test ride on a prototype NOX HYBRID TOUR 5.1 45kph with a sachs motor. I can say that I was impressed by Nox producing a really good SUV with a really powerful motor that felt much better than the flyon or gen4. Good geometry with 27.5 in wheels. It has taken the ebike industry much too long to get here but this Sachs motor gets my vote and the SUV package is probably the closest to the ideal bike.

For me the noise really is a problem. I might still get it eventually for my mtb, but electrifying my commuter will come first, and won't be with this one.

My home made bbshd with 3200w would kill both of those bikes . I used a norco storm 2 frame and put my own parts on it and its so much better than the bought bikes . You dont have to go really fast if you dont want to but you can go really fast off road . I also build my own batteries . My bike has really good parts on it aswel . The 203mm full floating discs work good with the shimano 4 piston hydraulic calipers . My bike does over 60kph when pushed . Even a $5000 ebike has junk parts on it . Only a specialized kenevo sl s works has top gear on it but $24, 000 is a bit much for a bike with only 250w motor . If i crash my bike its not a huge loss like the real expensive bikes . I must admitt some people cant change a light bulb let alone build a bike and batteries . Most cant even make their bed or cook a meal .
