I've been doing digital art for about 2 years now, and I STILL use "top 10 beginner digital art tips" videos, because they often teach me something new

Sometimes when I feel really worn out, like I don't improve at all and just got no motivation left in me, YouTube is coming right in time and smashed my face with brooo's videos, and those kind of videos really make me feel like I can do it, and be an artist like I want to.

So yeah, no jokes here this time, brook - thank you

Awesome video as usual, bud. Critique is the most important aspect of becoming an artist. Always remember that, kids.

3:15 yea, i used to draw heads by drawing a circle, drawing those construction lines for volume and then drawing a face on it, then i saw someone draw a line down from the circle, and that became the chin, and i like that better, so ive been doing it ever since.

I have started to learn to draw better and develop character drawing as a feel good hobby for when graphic design feels a little overwhelming. I am both happy with your channel and sad since I am going through all of this content so fast. Great videos by the way.

8:27 i think this is a fact of life, you should be receptive to ideas, because even if the person is objectively wrong, that misconception came from somewhere, and those words should not be disregarded.

4:43 I've seen that so many times. And not just in Art, but in 3D animation too. "You've got some pretty flat lighting" will be responded to with "B-b-but that's just my style! And so is the jerky animation".

this is a very interesting talk, and I totally agree. how do you deal with people that you wouldn't consider masters that try to assert themselves over you by saying "you do this wrong"? is there ever a moment, where you would say that "no, I'm fine, thanks."? because I totally can see that this is also a problem with some companies and teams, sadly.

2:20 honestly? It's really easy for me to Humiliate down myself, and just learn and not think i already know something, because learning how to draw is just so much fun, it's something i like to do, sooo i do eagerly learn how to draw.
Edit: after watching all video
Damn, i just want to get beter, i'm not gonna force bad habits just because i don't want to practice it, this is no lt important, what's important is to pursue that dream of becoming a good cartoonist and express nyself

Hi, so my main goal to my dream in my career of animation is to be a master. A master to me is when I have the capability to do I want to animate without to much help. So, essentially a person who done so much that they don't have to go to videos and tutorials to understand something. However I do understand I won't know everything because there are so many things to know. For example, how comic book artist would ask someone to do a pose because they are fighting with a certain shot. Do you think this conflicts with what you said to never stride to be a master?
thanks for your time!

all good words.
I had a artist comment to me " Don't tell me any thing if your not better then me!"
Sad that they have yet to grow up. So many art rendering methods and styles. Any one can be better then that artist.
I wonder if they will ever be successful?

Also, are these like things to use all at once or options to learning art?
