I’m a BMW fan (I have two currently, including an E92 M3).

Having said that, I would choose the Porsche GT4 10/10 times. The new M4 looks hideous, and keeps getting bigger and fatter.

Good shootout. Got to admit I prefer it with one driver in both cars. It gives a better indication of the car and not the drivers ability or suitableness to that particular car. And Plato is one serious driver.

That's most of what I got from this review.
If you had driven both cars without any form of preconditioned bias or preference, you probably would have done a lot more with the M4.
Preconditioned mindset to a car always affects the performance of the driver.
I really really love both cars, and won't mind having both. I'm just being objective here.

That Cayman GT4 is perfection. Better compared with the M2 Competition (Manual), in my opinion, regardless of lap times.

It's virtually impossible to find any situation any car would beat a GT4 unless it is a newer version of it or a GT3.
