Worked for me! Thank you so much! FYI. it worked using a No fast charge cable, a regular cable . The fast charge usb did not worker. Once it ran on the regular cable, the fast charge worked too

Hooray! I am happy dancing. I watched tons of videos and none of them worked on the Samsung 22. This was so easy and immediately got rid of the annoying message. I turned all the fast charging back on! All is well. Thank you so much.

Finally got round to thanking you for helping me with your moisture detection video. I didn't realise how wide spread this issue is and how wide spread the solution videos. So much so that we need to be careful not do further damage to our phones. I just hope that Samsung are aware of just of this. Any way thanks again for helping others out.

Thank you so much for this! I hadn't even dropped my phone in water nor did anything appear to be in the port, I believe the phone update that was completed yesterday evening triggered this malfunction. I have an Samsung A53 and had to change course a bit d/t the battery option not being avaliable. I went into the Phone Diagnostic instead and selected Cable charging which did the trick!

note: this is literally the same as restarting your phone with it plugged in.

basically once u restart it plugged in its use to that thing it was plugged into but once u do anything like move the plug to a diffeent mains socket or change the lead the alert will go eapshit. so basically its just a temporary fix.

I restarted many times and now its charging slowly with different adapter but connecting to the original one it doesnt

after trying several hacks from youtube, this one was the one who made it work. I didn't even have to turn the phone off, the notification came, but it still charged, and i could remove the notification.

I got the error message on my Galaxy A53 5G and I just kept the charge port Infront of a fan for a couple of minutes like the message advised and the error cleared itself

The only fix that actually worked thanks alot bro I was going crazy.. It didn't work at first when I used the 25W charger but when I used a normal USB type C charger it worked an the error went away.. Hope this helps others

My s20 stop fast charging after moisture detected on mine as well wtf samsung??? And it was no where near moisture?

Thank you! This actually worked. I have an s24 Ultra. I used some compressed air on my charging port as well. Didn't need to restart my phone, I just turned off fast charging and it started charging normally. After that, i turned fast charging on- unplugged the charger- plugged it back in- and it started to fast charge again!

I have a Samsung S21 plus and had the water symbol come up today and was panicking. I cleared the USB cache and it hasn’t reoccurred yet. Will it keep reoccurring or will it be fine. I have taped the USB port up as so scared.

Does not work with an A54, when I scroll down there is no "more battery settings". Any suggestions?
