To be a berserker means to disregard the concept of pain and injury. By putting on the Berserker armor, Guts has no concept of what pain is as he feels nothing from limbs breaking or being stabbed/impaled. That’s what makes Guts terrifying by dawning his armor, he becomes and uncontrollable beast with a bloodlust greater than any apostle
