This somehow holds up as we can interpret that Eren's head is now a seed that grew into that humongous tree but whether or not that boy from the dystopian future goes inside the tree and finds nothing or end up like Ymir will be entirely up to Isayama's choices.

I think it the titans aren't gone, but Ymirs curse DID end and that the only reason that tree got so big, suggesting it is similar to the one Ymir went inside, is because Eren got buried under it. So if he didn't, then maybe the titans would be totally wiped out.

The marks are from the physical connections to his face, like a bruise from being punched, they wouldn't just disappear.

The tree looks the same because of the original larva reforming at erin's gravesite under the tree, causing the same overgrowth.

But titans/royal blood/ackermans were made by humans specific actions taken over a long period.

The spinal fluid thing started when the king had his daughters consume the mother's flesh.

That wouldn't just all come back. If anything, there could be another occurence, but based on the evolution of titans over time, the outcome would be at least slightly different.
