Currently hunting for a new pos system to replace toast. The hardware fails constantly. The dip/card tap readers fail. Each pos screen has 3 spots that you can plug the card reader in and as soon as they all inevitably fail, you have to purchase a new screen all together. I’m 2 years into my contract and willing to keep paying toast for the duration of my contract and still get a new POS system because it has failed so much that it’s costing me more money and business than I will lose.

A business has to pay credit card processing fees no matter who they choose. A bank/credit card processor or a POS. Toast provides a credit card analysis to customers to beat their current rates. Not sure why that is a bad thing. How do you 86 items on this POS? Is it integrated with online ordering and Google integrated? Lots of questions unanswered here. Nice demonstration of the product though.

I can understand you are marketing your product in the name of reviewing toast pos.

Your pos is pushing those charges on customer and in case of toast pos, it was borne by restaurant that is using pos.


Marketing is fine but this is not a correct way to do it

as much as i like this pos you keep showing off i personally use android tablets and really dislike apple tablets it would be nice if you showed off some android alternatives or if this one is available on android start promoting it's android availability

Customers dont like seeing fees on there end. All this is doing is putting the fee on them. Hide the process cost in your menu pricing is alot better.
