Hello! Thanks for watching this lesson. There are many teachers here on YouTube, a number of whom are from the U.K. You can start by visiting the channels of those I am featuring this month and see if their accent and instruction is what you are looking for. Good luck!

Sorry! That was a typo (a mistake from typing too fast). Correct:
They were at home.

Thank you for the continued support. Well, I can't say which wording is more preferred outside the U.S., but among Americans "Happy belated birthday!" is common and acceptable. "Belated happy birthday!" as a wish sounds odd to my ears. We can talk about belated birthday wishes, though. Does that make sense?

Thank you! At this point, we're closer to my birthday in 2013 than in 2012 (but I don't like to think about getting older).

Look at Anglo-Link, one of my featured channels this month. She's in the U.K. Also, you must know MisterDuncan. He has one of the most popular channels among ESL/ EFL teachers, and he also teaches British English. You can tell him that I sent you. :)

Yes, there were at home all day, but they were not inside (the house) all day. They were outside in the morning, in their backyard. Does that make sense? Have a good day!

You are the best teacher for me. I propose you to a lot of friends. I want that they know you. I  feel for you so like one of my  family or my sister.
