To my eyes the fact that information becomes so "blurry" in terms of probability near the Planck length is indeed an indication that space-time isn't really a grid, but does act like a "voxelized", "voxelated" surface, or "pixelated" if you look at information on the edge of a black hole and the holographic principle. I think Space-time does have a RESOLUTION in the frame of reference of the observer (actually I think all of space IS the reference frame, US the sentience in the middle of all this information that is our space and time, we, our sentience has to be the frame itself, or at least impossible, to separate). And the fact things seem to become progressively ""blurry" in terms of being determined to exist or not, to me, feels like similar properties to a hologram, like the information of te ENTIRE frame of reference or entire space/time that is supposed to exist outside of any frame of reference is part of the reference frame and it's probabilities, which in the end all depend of the observation of one mind, which would seem to be an accord to one interpretation of quantum mechanics (proved since quite some time now, even more by that quantum eraser experiment).
Hard to explain shortly ideas like that for me in a YouTube comment, but anyway.

Gravity is classical. Quantizing gravity is like quantizing the map you use to make measurements thinking the map is real rather than just mathematical tool to describe measurements.

The explanation in this clip is not included that experiments results that has ruled out in observations.
This situation in every field theory as well as loop quantum gravity as Carlo elaborated is flaw or paradox.
As Sabina trying to put it in planck's scale and Lorentz inverience as well as mathematical blurredness of quantum approach is a concern. Is infact a solvable problem as my equations snapshot in the dynamics that even if that planck's square space tend to zero speed of light could be 4C for have quantum interactions with matters of the universe.
Hence the result is satisfactory for SURT-QG when it is damping to vacuum known value of C. This damping is results of 4D structure overall that is the need of modify technology to see this quantum effect as a space-time curvature. As these initiative is already started I have great hope .

It is quite strange that there is no reference to the experimental results (paper, pre-print, etc.) mentioned at the beginning of the discussion. Anyways, science, including theoretical physics, seems to have become more dogmatic. That is why there are no quantum physics and relativity-like revolutions anymore...

Everything you state is relatively consistent ;) You are right within the current paradigm which derives from human experience. Reality is not bound by human experience. And I am asserting that in reality (not relativistic / QED models that are subject to the mathematical limitations of whatever is en vogue), time has multiple dimensions. One interesting potential outcome of time having multiple dimensions is that the speed of light can then vary around singularities. It can also square the circle or shed light on (puns intended) on inflation and acceleration.

Since the 4-divergence is between time and space, some metric coordinates may have a minimal time dimension or a minimal spatial volume dimension, but not both measured at the same time, according to the uncertainty principle. Individual x-, y-, or z-measurements cannot be separated from the volume measurement due to the covariance of the length contraction. Therefore, searching for the minimum length is pointless.

He is really very confusing.
In the beginning he says that they were all excited and wrote papers about how light speed in vacuum should depend on frequency and how this would be a proof of LQG. But towards the end he explains that it is impossible anyway because it would break Lorentz invariance and LQG is (supposed to be) Lorentz invariant.
So what is it ? If LQG is Lorentz invariant, then the "exciting idea" is actually a no go since the start but if the "exciting idea" leads to LQG papers then LQG is not Lorentz invariant.
Something doesn't compute here and you should have asked him about this contradiction.

Back in WW1 a student of H A Lorentz, Johannes Droste, wrote the first paper on black holes. In this paper he noted that black holes repel each other. This causes an interesting effect. Let's say you are out picking black holes. Now if you put two holes in your magic bag they will bounce around rather than form a bigger black hole. Same with 3 holes, but with 4 holes they will tend to form a larger hole. This makes a hole of size 5 impossible. This causes a pattern of expected sizes with numbers like 12, 16 and 20 being favored. This was used by Rutherford to mathematically predict the neutron. QM is derived from GR, always has been.
