Past 2 years, I am worshiping all the Ganesh idols small or big present at my home, during ganesh festival. We do pooja, aarti everything. And at the day of visarjan we immerse them in pot full of water, remove and clean them and put in cupboard for next year. Some small murties are slightly damaged. But it's OK. they are my bappa, and he accepts me how i am. I will only do visarjan of those idols when it will be totally respectful and environment friendly. This is my way of celebration. Slighly modified but full of positivity and astha. Hope this will help someone. May our Bappa show light to all of us.

The Govt should bring in a law, all small Ganapati visarjan should be done at home in a proper water drum. Only big ganapati visarjan should be alound in lake only not in the sea which can be cleaned easily latest and these ganapati should be eco friendly
