My husband’s toenail looked like this.
Now it is Bigger, Blacker, has nail dystrophy, but no Hutchinson’s sign - yet. He’s not taking me seriously and I’m seriously afraid he’s going to end up losing his TOE! Bob Marley died of subungal melanoma!

My daughter had subungual melanoma on her left middle finger during Covid. Surgery was curative. She was only 13, blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and has had sunscreen every day of her life, wears SPF protective clothing, and hats. It was so scary!

I had one just like the one in the picture on my thumbnail. When I was little, my sister painted my nails the night before Easter. I didn’t get the polish removed and it just wore off except for a strip on my one thumbnail. When I finally had the polish removed after a long time, it left this brown stripe just like the picture. I had to keep the striped tip cut really short or it would bend. Had the stripe for about 25+ years and then for no reason it stopped and a normal nail grew back!

Once as a kid I was playing soccer and meant to kick the ball but missed and kicked the concrete wall. For about 13 years I had a brown streak through my big toe but one day I cut my toe and a portion of my big toe was lifted. It turns out the brown streak was blood or something because I was able to scrape most of it out from under my toe

How I got rid of that nail condition, which I thought was associated with some form of fungus and skin cancer. First, the nail rub head and shoulders' original shampoo on the nail 7 times a day until it disappears. 2nd skin cancer wash area scratch with needle massage original head and shoulders into scratched area again 7 times a day clean residual around the sight and then a small bit of honey around the site. Also, the scratched area has to bleed, and one need not go too deep. The skin cancer took me about 2 to 3 months
