When drilling Algs, look at the cube at the same time instead of just having the muscle memory, that way you can be more confident in recognising where you are at in the alg if you mess up or slow down. It also helps to learn it faster

Hey jperm, I started cubing last year at 40 years of age and am just loving it, yeh at times I get the looks (you are too old for this) but I ignore all of that and just luv it ...thank you for your videos

why am I watching this if I've never solved a cube, don't have one, and don't plan on getting one.

2 years back, i learned how to solve the cube for the first time with your video about the beginners method. Now 2 years in, parcticing almost all the wca events time to time, I'm averaging about 16 seconds on 3x3. And this videos help me find motivation as much as they do help with my cubing. Thank you so much! I hope i can reach sub-10 average someday.

I average 17 seconds and I thought this video would be useless(For me)but Dylan here was talking about pretty good points and I learned a few things

My biggest beginner mistake was not seeing if there is some other way to solve second layer other than beginners method... because F2L was actually easier for me to adapt to, I was making too many mistakes on second layer, but with F2L, it took a bit of getting used to but so much more intuitive for the way I view the cube in my mind...

Thank you SO, SO much for including that final tip. It is SO true of ANY hobby. I've seen SO many of my friends approach things claiming they're trying to be the 'best' but their actual practices would be better suited for being a casual but skilled hobbiest.
