This will be the first AC I've played since the 1st, the combat, the setting and the gameplay just looks superb, I will definitely buy this.

Connors father is Ezios decendant. One of Ezios decendents before Connor and his father possibly moved to Britain and just changed their name to Kenway because Templars were onto were the Auditore lived.

If there's one thing I loved about AC1, it was the element of travelling the wilderness. This element which was forgotten in AC2/B/R seems to have been brought back for AC3, which makes me happy. Also, what setting do you guys think Ubisoft will take AC next? I've got a pretty good feeling it'll be the French Revolution since it will be easy (ish) to make since they'll be able to use similar as AC3 since it's in the same time period. Thoughts, anyone?

@Elton Curlee This game has been in development for nearly three years. While this was made. Another team made Brotherhood and Revelations.

Or something like that, basically they were British who had settled there with other brits, but being a world away, they felt they were being imposed on too much, and believed they should be different from Britain and wanted independence for the colony.

Yeah, Assassin's Creed has probably the best premise for a story in the past decade, I recently read some stuff on the Assassin's Creed Wiki that pretty interesting like how Jesus, Gandhi, JFK, and Houdini had pieces of Eden

This game is kinda like Shadow of the Colossus when it comes to technology. There's some really impressive stuff here - water physics, clothes physics, tree climbing and new animations... but sometimes the console can have issues with rendering all that. Just like SotC.

It is going to be a whole different descendent and perhaps set at a similar/eariler time as Desmond (e.g.2008-2012, leading up to 21st December. Maybe another Assassins team?). Desmond's story is ending but the AC series is adopting a new protagonist. Ubisoft are finishing with anual releases (hell yes) and are going to visit different time periods and settings.

AnvilNext has some good graphics. Really cool, hope we see some more games with AnvilNext.
