You can say whatever you want about Altaïr and Ezio. When it comes to hunting templars, Connor seems stone-cold. Can't wait to play as this character in this time. And kudos to the animators behind the trailer, it looks great!

I wouldn't worry about the stealth aspect being diminished.
The reason they are advertising the combat so much is because its always been considered the weakest part of AC so they want to show off its improvements.
Even still, the stealth looks greatly improved.
For example, if you watch the full Boston demo, you'll notice:
1) We can finally crouch!
2) We can take cover and peek!
3) We can perform cover kills akin to Uncharted 2/3!!
Those features alone make stealth 10x better than previous ACs.
