I’ll never forget watching my mother cry her eyes out when this happened. I was 8 years old, I grew up a mixed child (black and white) in a republican county in Wisconsin. My mother endured a lot of bs growing up for the color of her skin, that night was a true personal triumph for her and as a young kid I felt it.

Whether you liked Obama or not, he was the greatest and the best well-spoken president of our time. So much power and confidence in his voice with no animosity towards another.
