What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video we are going over one of the Vaults located in the Commonwealth of Fallout 4, we have Vault 81! When I first made it to that vault, I thought to myself "Huh, an instance where Vault Tek isn't playing god", only to find out that they did and their plan was thwarted by a decent human being.

Honestly vault 81 is one of my favourite vaults in the franchise, it’s just nice to finally get to see a regular, working vault with no moral dubiousness behind the scenes for once. I especially like the part where you get to tell stories about the commonwealth to the school children, it’s just wholesome.

It’s always the possibly beneficial vaults that fail meanwhile the what if we cure addictions and then dump a bunch of drugs on them goes off without a hitch

It's nice to see a few occasions of vault TEC where good ultimately came out on top... For the most part at least...

Additional context, the Overseer wasn't bloodthirsty and actively tried to keep in contact with them but her terminal got fried so she was unable to contact them. She tried to get a technician to fix it, but it was well and truly fucked up until we came along years later.
