Does anyone recall the sanctions imposed to the U.S. during the invasion of Iraq?

The economical sanctions will affect european economy the most, because of the simple fact that Europe is an industrialized continent wich need resources but Russia is rich in resources and with the help of China, India etc they will just get closer to the East. This sanctions have one winner who is China and US can't sanctione China because China already owns most of the US. US have invested trillions in China and the only collapse we will soon see is the European collapse. The Imperialism comes from China not Russia but people can't see that.

Sanctions have taught the Russians some very hard lessons, and they've learned from them. Today, Russia is more that self-sufficient in more than 95% of goods and services. There you have it.

The question is, will the sanctions be canceled, when the war ends.
If they stay, there is no reason to stop the war.

Almost no countries other than the west (and their allies, 48 in total) are imposing sanctions). Why does he make it sound that Russia will no longer trade with the world.

The economic contraction will probably last for 2 years at most. There doesn't seem to be any internal opposition to Putin and I haven't any clue how sanctions affected the logistical issues that Russia had faced (more to do with communication intelligence).

I guess when Maximilian speaks in terms of "we this/that against Russia" it kind of makes the bias obvious.

The most surprising economic revelation out of all this mess has actually been how the gulf states are completely ignoring America's demands.
