TRUE - DAY 7 - SALUD

Today's yoga practice invites sun salutations and a mindful vinyasa, or yoga flow.

We get the heart rate up and focus on insight through repetition.

Also, a great practice to refocus the mind and keep you on track for your journey! (Just in case the mind is busy or playing tricks on you.) Stick with it! You got this.

Adriene, this True series speaks loud and clear to me. My husband left me on Christmas Eve after a 12 years relationship. My morning yoga with you is a lifesaver.
Today, I am toasting to letting him go.

The way you said 'see you tomorrow' almost made me cry.  There was a feeling of safety or care that I felt from it.  I think it's because I'm developing a habit where I keep showing up for myself every day with this yoga journey and you keep being there for all of us.  Thanks Adriene! : )

"I'm focusing, I'm a tree, I'm in the zone" "FIST BUMP TO YOU, ADRIENE!" = me almost losing my **** laughing. Definitely my favorite practice so far, though missed Benji's "What do you mean you don't want me lying directly in the middle of the mat?!" face today.

Toasting my son and his fight with colon cancer. Lots of love and positive vibes. And on a yoga note, I could suddenly step up to the top of the mat! I usually manage to shuffle a few baby steps. The repetition led to a smooth flow of movement. Wowzer!

I have always had real issues with tree pose - my nemesis lol - So anyway, on an impulse I decided to use this practice to toast to my marriage, we've been together for quite a long time and sometimes it's been tough but we love each other a lot even through the repetition of everyday married life is often boring for me. Then in tree pose A says "find that marriage of two opposing forces coming together" whoa! say whaaat? my tree took root and flourished upwards like never before hallelujah! Hahaha and on both sides too. I got a real insight today - thanks Adriene xx

Trying to leave a comment every time I pass a session (I mean one video). But sometimes I just can’t find words to describe what I think or feel. Anyway, I’m thirty and I’m planning to live until I’ll turn ninety. Hope to do yoga with you at least for the next sixty years! Thank you, Adriene! You motivate me to experience what I’ve never done to my body.

Yes Adriene yes! This series brings me SO much joy! I have never flown through a vinyasa/sun salutation with such ease and rocked so many planks in one practice! Seriously, directional breath from day 4 is, just like you said, totally changing the game for me. I love how you say "catch a wave" because it reminds me of the first time I went boogy boarding a couple years ago and it was one of the funnest experiences of my life. I also love how you call (potentially tricky) moments "experiments" because it totally takes any pressure away. Knowing that I don't have to "get it right" and that with continued practice, I will just get better and better, makes it all so much easier and more fun. SALUD to you and everyone on this beautiful, sensational, priceless journey of coming home to our true nature and finding what feels good. Toasting to my inner being & my health! Namaste! <3

Since I went through my first serious breakup a few months ago, the act of hugging myself in these practices is something that always brings a tear to my eyes. It simultaneously makes me sad but also happy because it's like I am telling my body "we've got this". Thank you Adriene!

I say salud to you, Adriene! I am so grateful for all the practices you share with us. In this practice I stayed balanced in my tree pose with my eyes closed for a few moments. On Saturday I did it inside a cold, tiny, mountain river. I just love the pose! I love practicing it with my eyes closed because it's very difficult and I usually fall a lot, but I am improving everyday. One day I'll be able to stay balanced for a long time with closed or opened eyes :)

I can't believe I've been sticking with the practice for 7 consecutive days!! Wow, you did great, self! It's usually really hard for me to stick to a routine but this is not a routine, these are my minutes of self-care. Of peace. The time where i completely allow myself to not perform perfectly. Loved today's practice, way to start a week!

So I've only just found this video and it was perfect! I loved the repetitive nature of it as it felt so calming knowing what was coming next, it meant I didn't need to think of anything other than the practice 😊 I know it's only September (2024) but boy am I looking forward to another 30 day yoga practice in January ❤❤❤
