Its important to keep your head up looking in the direction that you want to go and dont jump to your edges, its a gradual transfer of your weight that helps your board come across in that sliding motion

Dude this vid really connected the dots for me, i just went for my first time yesterday in Montana and I received LOTS of mountain hugs lol. if I had found this a couple hours before it totally could have saved me some time! Jesus - that note about engaging the second leg only after your board is pointing straight down the fall line is great. Been trying to figure out S turns on my own and have always tried to engage both legs ASAP just because I'm so worried with the speed. Good stuff mate, keep it up.

I'm a skiier. Have been since 2003. I want to spend a day with this dude and learn how to board. The only time I've snowboarded was in ski boots. My buddy and I swapped rides and I definitely had a better time than he did getting down the hill.

I went snowboarding for the first time yesterday. The best thing I was told was to make sure there is a middle point between heel and toe. So go heel-middle-toe instead of just heel-toe
