I like to think that the last chimes are there to:

1) Put an end to the calamity started in A Tale Of a Cruel World, giving it the best possible closure.

And as we know, there are many things that are going to happen after Moonlord, so

2) Mark the start of another and bigger calamity. So this song is like "It's not over yet, but it's okay to rest".

I truly love this, makes feel comfort.

I have a strange feeling about this theme. I had it play right during the credits and I almost shed a tear. Why this theme sounds and calm and sad at one time? The feeling that now you are a universal evil, that you did something that was not worth it, and now the world is in even greater danger...
Incredible work, that's the kind of soundtrack a must have in games.

Fun fact I discovered by accident: If you put the song into an audio editing software and slow it down by ~70%, you'll notice that the background ambiance is actually just nature sounds sped up. You can very clearly hear bird sounds.

I'm kinda late, but holy sh*t, it's been 2 years since this song was uploaded.
It's just unbelievable how you've succeeded in making your own style that's not just DM Dokuro's ripoff or something and is as pleasant to listen to as his style(and sometimes yours is a little bit better than his, imo).

When i first discovered you, i thought this mod would have the same problem as Official Calamity mod Extra music: it has Calamity motifs and it sounds neat, but songs themselves are too different from Dokuro's songs, which creates a sense of alienation. I've been gradually understanding my mistake, and now i can't believe i actually thought this way.

I've never thought that I'd ever stop beating a game to just sit back and to listen to its music for, like, 15 minutes or something, untill i downloaded this Terraria mod(ok, the only exceptions are Hollow Knight, Minecraft and Spore).

I wish you GOOD Luck on making the rest of UCMM soundtrack! And of course, don't rush yourself, because it isn't really a good thing when it comes to compositions that are this hard to make!
