Vanilla Calamity Mod Music - 'Gelatinous Monarch' - Theme of King Slime

Side Story 29: As I upload this one I am on vacation. Been trying to relax and set my mind right for the rest of the album which is currently 75% of the way done. This remaster was a lot of fun to make and it made me realize just how far I have come as an artist. I just hope the calamity community and the devs enjoy my music as much as I do.

I love the use of the Slime God motifs in this, really makes them feel like properly connected boss rather than completely independent entities. This remaster also just sells how intense the fight can actually be in something like death or malice, and still makes it feel properly royal. Bravo, this remaster goes fucking hard.

this is I loved the original and Im so glad to hear a solid remaster!!!! Great job on this! I like the more solid beatline as well as the accompaniment of guitars.

The chords in the background feel like it fits the ninja inside of king slime, like it reminds you that you are not fighting just a large blue slime, but the thing that is controlling it.

I absolutely ADORE your unique themes for pre-hardmode bosses, especially this one.

Pre-hardmode, in my opinion, is the most underrated part of every playthrough, it gives some RPG vibes with all that exploring and attempting to defeat some first, basical threats that you can easily wipe your feet on later.

You absolutely nailed this vibe, dude, and I'm looking forward to hear some new reimagined themes like Plantera or Golem boss soundtracks. Wish you best luck and inspiration!

The music feels royal, majestic and d gives the vibes of something huge. Just like the Great King Slime with his slime army trying to take down the player.

let's goo! this theme fits Calamity more than the old one and finally gives the vibes that you fight not a regular slimy being, but the king himself. (not to say that the old one was bad, it was also good, but it didn't give the right vibe)

this song syncs very well to the infernum fight. the part at 0:43 perfectly matched my short movements to dodge the ruby lasers!

When I saw another unofficial calamity mod music mod I felt really iffy about it. I really enjoyed the songs that turquoise made. But this? This is awesome. Kudos to you for making music that really feels connected to the Calamity Mod.

Fun fact, when using both vanilla music and infernum music together king slime Is the only boss that has the vanilla theme take priority. Can defiantly say I preference this version though so I'm not complaining of course, just thought that was interesting. Banger theme :)

Pretty damn good theme, i can really feel the symphony of the whistles mixed with the guitars and the rhythm of beats and otherworldy ooo’s. Blends really nicely with how it feels to be chased by a massive blob with the immense intent on assimilating you, adding you to itsself…
In general, 10/10
