The Toyota Camry is refreshed with slight exterior changes, new dash layout, and upgraded safety features to name a few. Still, the Camry gives you a reliable engine, space, and practicality to go with this family sedan. This Camry LE is the base model and although it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles, it gives you an easy car to live with and a good overall value base model.

How do you like this Camry base model? With less bells and whistles comes less things to worry about. Still, it’s efficient, spacious enough, and practical overall.

No push button start. I'll take the key every day of the week over a button.

Toyotas are the king of vehicles reliability, I bought a Camry LE model new in 2008 and til today it still runs and drive like the days I bought it. Currently it has 90k miles, drive better then most new cars hat I have driven. Hats off to Toyota!!!

The LE and XLE are what I call the “old people trim levels” but I can see why older people love them. They ride

I currently own a 2004 LE, with 56k miles, the same color, and was purchased new from Sport City in November 2003. A great car, still solid smooth ride, and no squeaks and rattles. No major repairs and the car lives in a garage. If and when I decide to buy another Camry, the Base LE trim would be my choice. Don't need all the bells and whistles the higher trims offer.

In 2001, I leased a new CE Camry (lowest level) & loved it. Bur, because it was the last yeart of that model, I didn't buy out the lease in 2004!Instead, I bought a new 2004 LE
CAMRY & still have it! Aside from basic maintenance, the car has never needed repair & still runs great, after 17 years! I would highly recommend buying one!

Regarding the 8 speed transmission at video 12:48, the transmission learns how you accelerate, drive and tailors to the driver. So if you are a new owner to a pre owned Toyota and don’t like how it’s shifting based on previous owner, simply take it to dealer and ask them to reset memory on the transmission. As the new owner drives his vehicle, you will notice a considerably huge difference in shifting as the transmission is learning your driving habits.

I learned a lot from following the car care nut, a master technician Toyota if you are a Toyota owner.

I actually like the front grill on the base vs. the higher end mesh. The mesh looks tacky.

i have this car.
overall really pleased with it!

there are some cons: very light acceleration its notchy, no real good place for your phone, hard to see the ignition key hole, rear speakers are "fill music only!"( and if your older) kinda hard getting out of the car.

i did get 40mpg from dallas to austin n back! it literally sips gas!!!

happy with my purchase!

great review Nolan!!

My boyfriend mom had this car for a three year lease. Steady and reliable. Worked great!

In this era where every vehicle is so glitzy and techy and loud looking, filled with gadgets and doo dads that will break, it does my heart good to know I can still get a fairly conservative looking, no nonsense, basic and reliable car. I like a physical key, knobs I can turn instead of a touch screen everything, and a non turbo engine. This year model will be on my list to look at in a few years when these show up as off lease certified preowned Toyotas.

May not be the most exciting car, but you can not beat it for for what it is meant to do. Comfortable, reliable, safe. In my opinion, for the best mid-sized sedan, look no further then this or maybe the Legacy. I know people love the Accord, but for me it just doesn’t cut it due to its harsher and noisy ride and it’s lack for features that the Camry and Legacy give you for the same or less money.

I actually prefer the clean look of the base model over the higher trims

I bought a 2020 le last week, it's simple with just enough flash, has 23k on it one owner, with today's gas prices it does amazing with my hwy drive to work 25miles one way.

I enjoy these every day car videos. I would think that for a little bit more the hybrid model is a decent value with mileage at 58 mpg. Whichever Camry you get you’ll have the excellent build quality that Toyota is known for. I only wish this model was offered in a station wagon, not everyone wants a crossover.

Camry is like Alabama football, you can count on both to beat competition % of the time. Maybe not the prettiest but always gets the job done
