Ukrainian Missile Strike Sank Russian Warship Moskva, Pentagon Official Says

The Russian cruiser Moskva sank after it was hit by two Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles Wednesday, a U.S. defense official said Friday, contradicting Russian claims that an accidental explosion was responsible for the loss of the flagship of the Black Sea fleet.

I find this news as disappointing for the Russian navy. Don’t they teach Russian sailors damage control and to save the ship no matter what? If one missile can sink their war ships, they must not be built very well. Magazines must not be designed with safety to the ship and crew. If that’s the case, it doesn’t matter how much weaponry or launchers their ships have. Without shipboard design to protect the ship or the crew, they should become luxury vacation liners😔

This reminds me of the Bismarck, when it took practically the whole British Navy to sink the "un sinkable " battleship. I think final credit went to two British vessels of no major consequence Dorsetshire and Rodney to "luckily" cause enough damage to the control deck to precipitate the demise of the vessel. If not for " luck", the Bismarck would have wiped out the British Navy from the North Atlantic!
