Boeing Starliner Keeps STRANDING on ISS! NASA to give up…
The Boeing Starliner was initially heralded as a beacon of innovation in space travel, promising to revolutionize NASA’s commercial crew program. However, the program quickly encountered significant obstacles that undermined its ambitious goals. Technical setbacks plagued the development and operational phases, resulting in numerous delays and increased costs. Safety concerns also emerged, with critical issues that compromised the spacecraft’s reliability.
Ultimately, these challenges have eroded confidence in Boeing's ability to deliver a safe and reliable spacecraft.
Boeing Starliner Keeps STRANDING on ISS! NASA to give up…
Continuing the series of delays for the Starliner, NASA, and Boeing managers have once again decided to extend the Starliner crew's stay at the International Space Station, bypassing the re-entry date of June 26. Previously, the Starliner had other delays on the 18th and even on the 22nd.
This latest delay marks an indefinite postponement of Boeing Starliner's return to Earth, marking another major setback in the troubled test flight aimed at competing with SpaceX's Dragon crew.
Boeing Starliner Keeps STRANDING on ISS! NASA to give up…
Now, NASA and Boeing's engineering team will need more time. Sources indicate that NASA considers June 30 as a possible return date, but the agency also wants to conduct a few spacewalks outside the station. These spacewalks, currently planned for June 24 and July 2, will now continue. The Starliner will return to Earth afterward, possibly no earlier than the July 4 holiday.

We’re talking about technology that has been functional for the last 60 years. And Boeing couldn’t even do this here in 2024

Not very bright to go outa space with a company that can’t keep a plane door closed.

I'm surprised they didn't send up whistleblowers on the test flight.

EGO ALERT!!! Boeing and NASA don't want to admit they fucked up.

NASA/Boeing need to attempt to bring Starliner back to Earth unmanned. The astronauts can come back in SpaceX's Dragon.

At $150 Million more to launch Starliner over Crew Dragon why would you choose this option? That's $45Million more per astronaut.

at least the door didn't fall off this time. have to give boeing tons of credibility for achieving that.

NOT EVEN AT GUNPOINT!!!
You couldn't make me get into Starliner to come back to Earth. They should send it back empty and send up another SpaceX ship up to bring back the Astronauts. Starliner has proven that it's not safe.

NASA failed this mission by not making Boeing to initiate several supply missions to the ISS in order to iron out bugs instead of allowing a live crew to be stranded in space. This would establish a reliability factor to the overall performance. I believe Space-X had done similar supply missions before allowing a live crew onboard.

The CEO says "I know what's the root cause. Blame it on China!!!"

I am not surprised with issues at NASA/Boeing. The NASA head once said that the far side of the moon is always dark. With such an ignorant and incompetent statement you immediately realize that NASA is no longer a science agency any more. They need a competent leader to address all of the issues and move forward 🎉

During the 60s, 70s Boeing was the Rolls Royce of the aircraft industry. What a joke now! Aircraft that lose pieces in flight, and spacecraft that continually fail. Greed before quality, shame on you Boeing executives for destroying a once great company.

Send Starliner back home on autopilot! Bring the crew home safely on Dragon!

Did you know that during OMAC engine testing during 2018-2019 at White Sands over 80% of these engines leaked fuel between the injector and thrust chamber during firing. Even so NASA cleared all these engines for use.

Do the two Starliner test pilots have custom SpaceX suits in case Dragon has to bring them home?

It's a huge mistake putting humans on that deathtrap! Why risk lives when you have a second choice to get then back home safely? Crew Dragon has proven itself to be trustworthy. The extra cost would be worth it to save the lives of two astronaut's. Two shuttle disasters based on the same arrogant mentality killed both crews! Totally preventable! Don't make the same mistake!

Send SpaceX Dragon to the rescue.
Saving the life of the astronauts first rather than saving face.
No need to downplay Starliner’s problems with excuses about learning from its setback when the life of the astronauts is at stake while in space.
Ensure the safe return of the astronauts back to earth first.

Should anyone be surprised they're having issues? Boeing needs to get rid of anyone with a "manager" title because it's they don't have the skills nor the support of the workers to build anything beyond a refridgerator.
