Boeing needs to give back all the money the government paid them to develop starliner. This is a disaster

Ok, it's official: They're stranded in space.

Boeing was also “confident” about their airplanes.

Those astronauts must sleep very well, knowing that "there are internal disagreements" over their safe return home. Boeing strikes again

There were "internal disagreements" about launching Challenger too.

Internal disagreement = political pressure on engineers. Each time another problem is uncovered, the political pressure looses power.

If Boeing is confident, then send two of them up on SpaceX, and let them bring home Starliner. Butch and Suni can catch a ride down on SpaceX.

NASA is wise to take ANYTHING Boeing says or promises with a grain of salt.

Why isn't this story getting more attention? This is serious stuff.

Boeing is confident. The astronauts…not so much.

I cant quite believe they would have the 2 "test pilot astronauts" stay up there for 8 months straight. That is an extremely long time to be in space, especially when they were prepared for only a week to start

That is indicative of Boeing's management style, Greed at any cost of human life.

The movie will be out by the time they get home.

It's not about competition, it's about not having they blow up/burn up on reentry.

So much for a “three hour tour”. I’m betting they wish they had their toiletries bags that were removed prior to the launch.

Internal disagreements: the bosses and politicians want a quick fix to save face, but the engineers are reminiscing about the Challenger and Columbia incidents.

Since they've been using thrusters in manned spacecraft since the early 1960's you'd think they'd have it perfected by now.

The people running Boeing today are nothing like the people who ran it in the days of the 707 and 747. They've become sloppy and careless. Mediocre.

WHAT? February? the 8 day trip has lasted months... February is a long time to wait.

This is amazing... 5 Billion Dollars and Boeing can't get a small capsule perfect.
