I only knew of Julia Reed a little bit. Thanks John Meacham for this remembrance of a woman who I now know to be a great figure in modern journalism. Such a character full of funny, smart and biting wit and great style. RIP

I don't know much about Julia. She sounded like a powerhouse and I wiil research her - get to know her writings. However well regarded, whatever she has done, I mourn her. Nobody should be robbed of life at age 59. Far too young. My sadness to her family.

Madeira is a fantastic school and Jean Harris was always quite revered and respected. Even in jail, she taught others to read and write. The event that led to her jail time was filled with complications.

The word "Trump" should be inducted into our society's list of curse and bad words. References like "Trump you, Brian" are now considered offensive.

Please consider where we have been and where we need to go together and why. There is much in this video to process and I challenge you to see it through to the end. It is more than thought provoking, it is enlightening in a challenging way.
Julia's powerful voice will also be heard now.
