Many many ottoman Sultans such as Selim the first ( Suleiman's father) orhan, Osman, Murad, Mehmed all married to Turkish elite woman. Not all sultans married their concubines. Especially pre mehmet the second Turkish woman married Sultans are a big majority.

And my father's family was one of the latest albanian orthodox christians who converted to Islam! I have heard true living history of my grandfather, and it is the opposite of what this man is saying! The ottoman empire was not super good, but it was one of best empires!
What this old man is saying, is exactly the same what they learned us the history in schools during the communist times! And when I went home from school, my grandfather told me that it was the opposite what they learned us in schools against the ottoman empire!

1.Earlier Ottoman sultans always married with noble families from Christian or muslim dynasties till battle of ankara againist Timur. After the battle, timur raped and humiliated Sultan Bayezid's serbian noble wife in front of him. After that event they did not marry with any women neither noble nor peasant. They preferred odalisques. But there is exceptions too. For instance Suleiman the magnificent married with an ukrainian slave girl "Hurrem".
2. Janissaries were not recruited for out of trust to muslim population. Janissaries were guards and they were only 10% of the army during the heydays of Ottoman Empire. They recruited because Ottomans wanted use the huge human resource in balkans.
3. After 1700 Ottomans were always in defensive position. So they did not wage 500 years of continuos War. They couldnt. Because Ottoman Empire lived 600 years. 1299-1922.

I am a Orthodox Christian from the Montenegro, Serbian Mountain Tribe of Rovcani.
Our ancestors GOJAK who is the Descendant of Stefan Nemanja .
Gojak had 4 sons Bulat, Srezo, Velyko, Vuko.

Now where the story gets interesting is that all the sons were born during the Ottoman occupation of Montenegro and the Turks always favoured a Serbian nobles son.
VELYKO one day after glancing at a local Turkish landowner was taken by the beauty of the Turks daughter.
He decided to Take on Islam and took the name Feriz Pasha.
Veljkos or Ferizs descendants today live in the Plav, Gusinje and Novi Pazar area.
Many of them know their Honrable ancestry but many don't want to believe even what their DNA says.
