I'm QUITTING Overwatch 2 👋😔

I do not plan on staying an Overwatch 2 content creator for much longer. The game has become very stale so I plan on swapping for the most part to deadlock the steam game or maybe marvel rivals when they come out.

Tbh I took a long break from Overwatch (I think like 2019-2024) and I genuinely love this game and my only real problems are how they handled PvE and how expensive skins are, both of which have nothing to do with the actual core gameplay

I've been watching Overwatch cinematics since 2017 and finally got a PC to play Overwatch 2 in 2022. It felt amazing finally being to be able to become the heroes I've seen in the cinematics after waiting for 5 years

I took a break during OW1 for abt a year and went and played Paladins instead because it was more fun. And now I’ve come back to OW and it’s fun.
I think people need to not force themselves to play the game if it’s not fun. I get it, more than anyone trust me. But breaking out of it can be really valuable and you can always go back when you feel like it. That is the only time you should go back - when you actually want to.

I felt that. I've been going to more solo games now. I can't do online games as much anymore, almost every community is toxic now and it's exhausting. People are just way too comfortable with ruining other people's experiences.

I’ve been saying this!!! The biggest problem with Overwatch is OW1 players/content creators. As an OW2 player, we NEED new OW2 content creators

I’ve been playing since the beta of overwatch one and the hate has been real, nobody likes when I play it as much as I play other games, it gives them a new better experience they get to enjoy with their favorite streamer, so I agree with this so much because at this point I think it’s time we get new people to enjoy the fun of this game while it still lasts

I mean, i deliberately give myself breaks to the game and i still hate nearly every change they have made in the game. Anything past high Diamond level has just become a fucking slog to play.

I didn't start playing the game till Lifeweaver was added and I love this game. Additionally, all the hate from old players makes me feel horrible for thinking things are fun

The only thing I dislike is the bad apples in the community, for example, people absolutely steaming in quickplay at their team, when in fact, a lot of people are just learning the ropes of the game

I simply left after they took away the 6v6. The reason being? I was the tank player, and I knew I wasn't gonna enjoy all that extra weight being dumped on me. I stopped having fun.

That's where I felt rivals succeeded, I was having fun again as a tank, even when losing.
