The storm made it's fourth landfall as a Category 1 hurricane.

I live in Tampa, Fl. And it was suppose to come straight for us, I’m so so very thankful it turned. It’s sad the people further South who were affected and had little to no time to prepare. Fort Myers is literally flat land right now with debris and water everywhere. I feel so bad for those people. 🙏 for them.

And as usual, the news overhyped the storm, it wasn't that bad, mostly property damage on costal homes, which is to be expected with living there.

They say that 35 people lost their life. It's way too early to say that. When we went thru the same for Katrina they did not know how many people lost lives for months.

I don’t think taxpayers should bail out private beach communities. They exclude the public from a natural recreation spot then want public money when it’s demolished. Goes for any state, red or blue.
