Alone this year, I have bought 4 AMD Card. 3 new and 1 used. So I am doing my part I guess. Nvidia is just overly expensive in my region atm (Germany).

I’ve had it with nvidia. Those price points are ridiculous considering the performance gain. 3090 is a better card considering. Think I will finally give AmD a chance.

AMD's RX 6000 series is the first GPU lineup in YEARS that has been decent. You don't win over gamers just with one okay product. You have to do even better going forward. Nvidia screwed it up this time with the RTX 4000 series. So if AMD doesn't win this round, they will have to keep fighting for a few more years.

I have an RX 570 8GB and I gotta say for starters AMD Radeon adrenaline edition is amazing. So simple to use, everything looks so nice visually it's so appealing and things are very easy to find.

Secondly being able to overclock almost any AMD card is extremely useful as well since my GTX 1050 ti didn't support overclocking only RTX cards can.

The performance is so good on my Rx570, I'm able to play most games 60fps 1080p high settings without an issue. I haven't crashed once unless it was a new game that had issues similar to Cyberpunk. I haven't had any real issues yet in my 8 months of owning it.

I really wanna upgrade to an Rx 6600 XT or Rx 6700 XT since I don't really care for higher resolutions, or ray-tracing since most games don't support it and many that do don't look all too different. There are a few games out there that have amazing ray-tracing but at 300-400$ you're not gonna be playing rt at anything above 30fps. Even the 3060 ti will struggle on the really good ray-traced games.

What I find odd is standing at the till at a local store buying something and listening to a rep at the till next to mine tell a guy that the 3060ti is a better card than 6800XT to sell a 3060ti. It's just so much misinformation that trickles down to even the store level. It's a culture that AMD needs to overcome. 6800XT = 3080 all day. Try to convince some of that though. Also Market share and installed base are 2 different metrics. Last 4 or 5 months retail sales is what this report is. Still stands that 17% of installed gaming cards are AMD.

It's an Rtx curse, once you own an RTX there's no going back.
Heck I'm even using the weakest RTX(3050) card but I still couldn't convince myself to upgrade to 6700xt(gigabyte gaming oc semi bn) for only 280usd.
Takes another RTX card to upgrade. DAMNIT!!!! 😡 💢 💢 💢

I bought an ASRock AND Radeon 6950 XT off Newegg for $800 (brand new) a week ago and I couldn't be more happier with it than my old 3070.
