How to Fix LOW FPS and STUTTERING on AMD Cards!

Are you experiencing heavy stuttering and low framerate in games and even video editing programs? Well if you are I was experiencing the same issues not so long ago until I stepped upon a Reddit post detailing the solution to fix all issues, and it really worked! *UPDATE* I was able to re-install Adrenaline software without stuttering. It seems the root cause was AMD fTPM while having SAM (smart access memory) enabled. After disabling fTPM and enabling SAM my games and programs are now buttery smooth while being able to use Adrenaline software!

i went through around 30 guides before this. absolutely NONE OF THEM fixed my shuttering problems. one of them actually made it worse so i had to revert the changes. when i found this guide, i thought it would be the same, but it actually worked! turns out i was using a driver version that was unsupported by my graphics card, so i downgraded and it boosted my fps and fix my stuttering problems. thank you! 🎉

Omg Dude you Fixed my problem I had this 6900xt since launch I even returned it and got a new one with my warranty and I tried everything online, I just tested it out with a couple games it’s working buttery smooth. I use riva tuner for fps limiting, and "LosslessScaling" program, and turn on vsync in sync mode in LS program. NO ANY STUTTERING AT ALL!!!! If yo uwanna turn off rescaling and frame generating feature.

i get 180 frames avg but even after this my 1% lows hit 10-30 frames im switching to nvidia amds too annoying

Some people love Adrenalin...I had stuttering and low frame rate ..so i switched to minimal install and its ok now

Bought a 6750 XT with similar issues from my brother, hoping i can get it to work reasonably.
The card is just a few months old and he sold it to me for 200 euro (half of what he paid) 'cause he didn't want the frustration of trying to fix it.
If i can get it to work well, i've got myself a hell of a deal on it.

BRO! I have been through years of battling with the stupid stutters (Mainly Warzone) and gone through every attempt to correct it with 1, 000 AMD settings, monitor, windows, to in game... I had a feeling it would be something so minor and it turns out it was the AMD software. HIGHLY RECCOMEND TO ANYONE FRUSTRATED BY THIS CRAP. Thanks man! Holy hell what a relief!

Brasil aqui . Literalmente instalar só os drivers, sem a versao do adrenaline, acabou com os stutters principalmente no fc 24 ( ainda fica um ou outro no menu, mas o jogo esta liso na partida, com tudo no ultra ) . Configuracao = Rx6600 + Xeon 2640 v4 + 24GB Ram

I'll try this, i hope it works i had a lot of issue with amd drivers, like after some time soundcard go buzzing for no reason when i change some settings it fixes but its a issue since 2 year ago. Ill try when i got better net connection, if it works ill share here.

Edit: it worked! If you are reinstalling do not choose upgrade choose recommended version. sound buzzing and low.fps is gone finally.

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH ! i have 6600 xt. This fixed it ! (I cant play everything at 4k, but 1440p butter smooth). ( I installed rivera at set global fps to 60fps)

This worked for me, was having massive stutters on my brand new 7000 series card. just installed drivers and i doubled my fps :D
