Sir your homework answers are:-
1:- x=-2
2:- y=2
Explanation
1:- 1/2 powerx=4
= 2 power-2=4
Therefore, x=-2.

2:- 6 power y= 36
= 6 power 2 =36
Hence y=2.

1/2 ka to the power x=2 to the power 2
2 to the power -1= 2 to the power 2
2 to the power -x = 2 to the power 2

2) 6 to the power y = 36
