Thank you. I’ve been having some shoulder pain issues doing this in some positions, but especially leaning into the pad rids the pain. Will try the arm thing too next time.

Shouldn’t you also go less high when you’re bringing your arms up since the higher you go the more you’re recruiting your upper traps?

I know I’m really late but have you ever tried facing the other direction? I’d imagine it’d allow for you to lean back a little bit and further open those scraps up.
