A gallon of water per day is good for us right?
MMMMmmmm. Uhhhhhhhhhh
Now there's this thing called cellular hydration which is the process and efficiency of how water molecules reach our cells and how they get utilized.
So proper cellular hydration is pretty important but it a little more nuanced than just slamming ridiculous amounts of water.
One of the most important things to consider here is that when you consume foods and liquids with minerals in them your cells become much more hydrated.
So you shouldn’t just drink water to drink water. You have to make sure that there are minerals in it, like sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium in it.
So for me if you're mineral deficient, drinking beverages like coconut water, watermelon juice, and eating fruit can be incredibly helpful. Also, mineral water works great too.
