The new old armor in Halo: The Master Chief collection is the best yet. We finally get SPI from the cover of Halo: The Fall of Reach and the original 1999 Macworld Master Chief armor! All to celebrate Xbox turning 20 years old!

It took them so long to add SPI armor and we finally have it, incredible to finally see in game.

The controller shoulderpads look silly, but it's cool they added all of this. I definitely love the SPI armor

I'm just happy H2A finally has some new armor, even if it's right at the end of it's life cycle. It's still my favourite multiplayer in MCC

It still amazes me that ive been playing halo for 20 years and im still excited about it lol this was my childhood at 10 years old on Christmas morning with an xbox and a couple games one being halo combat evolved and i was just hooked as soon as i started it up i love halo so many great memories so many amazing friends along the way clan wars 1v1s and a couple really great chances to go pro proving that some kid from florida could stand against some of the greatest players and not get completely destroyed and all the hours my brothers and i have put into it together maaan so many great memories with them and the entire community

Seeing Installation 01's render of the 1999 armor made me really fall in love with the armor...I'm SO glad it's in-game now!

If only SPI was in Reach, with the Spartans that wore it…. Well I guess Kurt did too but still, to be a 3 and wearing SPI would be sick.

I'm glad H2A got some new content (finally). However, I would have loved to see the ORION armor in H1. Since that was the game that actually came from the remnants of the 1999 showcase.

I think it would’ve been so cool if they put the 1999 armor into Halo CE. Granted, I like that it’s in halo 2 anniversary. Because H2A really needed more armor.

Stuff like the Xbox and controllers on a Spartan is good funny armor, I don’t want that weird three face armor type in infinite, I’m a little worried

Given Proto-Chief's armor is H2A exclusive I hope it means 343i might be planning to add more maps and armors in the future. I won't hold out hope but one can dream.
