i don't know how to explain it but this type of artstyle where it's very outlined and pastel-y and cute is just something i LOVE SO MUCHHHH!!! it looks so edible if that makes any sense and i just wanna take a bite out of it 😭

You can also flip the normals of the mesh itself so you dont need to do it in the shaider ^o^ just flip them asif you were fixing the normals, then click inside instead, and it will make them inside out. just gotta make sure you allow backface culling onto the meterial.

this can also be put into unity and work there since unity automanically has backface culling, so anything flipped will also be inside out there too!!

Backfacing is used a lot in games, if you just don't render the sides you can't see, then you can gain lots of performance!

A faster way to do this is to simply turn on backface culling and invert the normals (which should render faster as there are less shaders to process)

by the way, to do this in blender 4.2, you do not need to replace the principled bsdf, the alpha slider replaces a lot of the steps.
