Nobody seems to notice how Joe Morton (Black scientist) steals the spotlight from everybody but Mothra.

Literally all the attention is on him once he shows up, he gets this giant ass smile when Mothra comes out, which seems to get even bigger when the background blurs out, and his arms raise to the music just before Mothra spreads her wings. The people behind all of that we're amazing

i remember watching this movie at the theatres when this scene came on you can literally feel the room fill with all kinds of good feelings, the vibe was just radiant and beautiful. Was definitely an uplifting experience. But when Mothra died ugh that just hurt.
