Power plan can stay on balanced. If you have a somewhat recent PC. Within 10years or so. Changing the power plan will make little to no difference. Having it on balanced will not hold your PC back in any way. It will simply adapt to the task at hand. Rather than always being at full throttle all the time. This might have helped PCs like 20 years ago. All it does now is increasing that bill.
